Back when I ran a BBS many decades ago, when I had a problem user, I would set his access level very low and he would get a message of "You can't call here anymore." But some people don't get the hint.

I had set up a Mystic BBS on an old Raspberry PI as an experiment not too long ago. I never advertised the BBS since it was never intended to be publically available - but I had to open up networking so that I could get to it from work.

One day, someone else logged in to it. I killed his account.
A few days later, he logged in again, re-creating his account. I set his account to "you can read a message and log off" explaining that this was not a public BBS.
The next month, I found he added my BBS to the Telnet BBS list!

If I were still running a BBS, I would certainly welcome people who disagree with my political views.

But Leftoids, especially ones with TDS, can't handle facts that go counter to their false Narrative. It reminds them that they are wrong.

I like the Dovenet guys. They are pretty decent.

I think Dovenet is one of the areas I avoid now. I don't remember.

I do know that the cancellation problem seems to have gone away (or when I notice, it seems to be related to simple technical problems).

Leftists are ruled by feelings. So they list the rules, you follow the rules, but you say something that they don't like. If they outright banned you, they'd look bad because, according to the rules, you did nothing wrong.

Here's an example... Canada wants EVs... instead of having Canadians
make them, we have the plants, Canada import them from CHINA.

I will argue that this is not true for most of Canada. Batteries don't work well when the temp gets cold.

All the liberals are back east in the 2 largest provinces and these
are the people who vote these people in.

Out west Alberta will be voting this October to leave Canada, become
its own country or the 51st State.

That would be nice.
