  • SVDM feature request: bot-gate

    SF can lock up when scanners send malformed or unexpected data while it is answering a call. Request optional screening before SVDM sends RING to SF. Possible checks: reject HTTP, SSH, SMTP, binary probes, rapid reconnects, or preferred just a “Press ESC to continue.”

    Not sure this would be worth the effort any longer. I created a bot-gate product using python that works great on Spitfire (dos bbses) and even tested using Synchronet HAProxy. https://github.com/xbit44/botgate
