Monday
Showers in northern parts of Spain and Portugal on Monday. Much of
southern Iberia mostly sunny, only some cloud around. but fair for the
rest of Portugal and Spain. Scattered showers in the Balearics, risk of
heavy showers in the far north islands and Corsica. Dry in Sardinia but
increasingly cloudy. Thunderstorms arrive in northwest Italy, spreading
east across most of northern Italy through the day. Central and
southern areas dry with sunshine, cloud tending to build from the west
later. Dry and sunny for the Balkan States, as well as Greece and
Türkiye.
Frequent, widespread afternoon showers across France, some drift into
the Low Countries; a notable west-southwesterly breeze here. From dawn,
a band of heavy/thundery rain is oriented north-to-south through west
Germany into southeast France. The rain tends to break as it moves into
central Germany, but Switzerland and west Austria will be increasingly
wet with thunderstorms. Quite warm in east Germany through south Poland
and Ukraine towards the Black Sea. Sunny spells with scattered

Denmark sees outbreaks of heavy rain throughout the day, these pushing
into much of southern Norway too. Mostly dry in Sweden but quite
cloudy, some rain reaching southwestern areas late in the day. The

increasingly sunny as the day goes. Far northern Scandinavia similarly
dry with decent sun.

Tuesday
Morning showery rain in northwest Spain and Portugal. Some cloud around
early, trending towards a sunny afternoon. A mix of cloud and sun for
the central Mediterranean Islands but substantially dry. Frequent
showers across much of Italy with local thunderstorms, most likely in
the northeast. Increasingly cloudy for the northern Balkans with some
showers onto Croatia's coast later in the day, remaining fine for the
southern Balkans, Greece, and Türkiye.
Notable southwesterly winds in west France where heavy rain sets in
early and spreads east - only the far south will avoid rain. This rain
reaches Belgium late in the day, only odd spots into the Netherlands.
Scattered showers in Germany with sunny spells, rain more persistent in
the northeast. Extensively showery across the Alps with risk of
thunderstorms in Austria. A risk of thunderstorms extends into Czechia

Low pressure moves through France towards the north east, brining with
it rain and thunderstorms; fine south and far east.

Thursday
A few showers in the far north of Spain, otherwise fair across Iberia
and mostly sunny. Fair in the Balearics as well as Corsica and
Sardinia. Italy is likely to be dry with good spells of sunshine
through the western Alpine area will become showery as the day goes.
Scattered showers for the inland Baltics southward into west Greece,
good sun spells between showers. East Greece and Türkiye dry and mostly
sunny, some cloud may drift around near the Black Sea.
Heavy thundery rain will prevail across much of France through the day,
most widespread in eastern areas. This same system pushes showers into
the Low Countries, west/southwest Germany and Switzerland. Rain will
continues its eastern movement into central Germany and Austria into
evening. Dry and fine for Czechia and Poland, though a north-to-south
band of showers will affect eastern Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. Dry
and fine from Ukraine south to Bulgaria; very warm across much of the
eastern continent.
Scattered showers for southern Scandinavia with sun spells in between
showers. Showers more widespread in Norway with frequent heavy rain
onto the southwest coast. Some showers will spread north later in the
day, leaving a fine evening for Denmark and Sweden. A few showers in

A mix of cloud and sun across Iberia; only some local showers on the
eastern Spanish coast. Another fine day for the Balearics and Sardinia
and Corsica, a little bit of cloud drifting around. Showers drift
west-to-east across the Italian Alps with a few showers in the norther
plains, dry and sunny further south. A few odd showers in the southern
Baltic States and western Greece, otherwise fine for southeast Europe.
Some afternoon showers in west Türkiye.
Morning scattered showers in east and north France as well as the Low
Countries will clear for sunshine. Showers will persist for longer in
Germany and Switzerland, though moving east and tending to clear later

the west of Poland, sunny and fair for eastern areas. Hungary and

Gales and heavy rain for Denmark and moving into southern Norway and
Sweden. Rain moves north across Finland and northern Sweden. Showers in

Tuesday
A fine day for most of Spain and Portugal with warm sunshine. Chance of
an afternoon shower in northeast Spain. The Mediterranean looks
generally fine, sunshine for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. A few
showers for northern Italy, drier toward the south. Warm sun for Greece
and Turkiye.
France is largely dry, but breezier with showers toward Belgium and
some more persistent rain into the Netherlands and northern Germany.
Showers locally in the Swiss Alps, some more constant rain and heavy
bursts in Austria and Hungary. Fine and warm toward the Black Sea. A
frontal band of rain for eastern Poland and into Slovakia, followed by
brighter spells in central southern Poland.
Windy with frequent rain and showers across southern Scandinavia and
the Baltic region, heavy bursts of rain frequent through southern
